PATNA: A man in Bihar has named his newborn baby after brave Indian Air Force pilot Abhinandan Varthaman who was released from Pakistan captivity only Friday evening.
Akla Kumari, husband of Om Prakash, was admitted to a hospital in Gaya district on Friday after her delivery pain started.
However, she delivered the baby boy just when Pakistan was handing over Abhinandan to India, and hence the parents hastily named him after the brave IAF pilot.
“We have decided to name him after Abhinandan. We expect him to serve the nation like him after becoming young,” his parents told the media tdoay.
They said the entire nation is celebrating the happy return of wing commander and nothing could be better than recalling his services by naming their child after this brave IAF pilot.
Wing Commander Abhinandan’s MiG 21 was shot during an aerial combat between India and Pakistan on Wednesday morning. Since then, he was in the captivity of Pakistan but on Friday evening he was finally released by the neighbouring country as a gesture of peace.
