PATNA: A female examinee in Bihar appeared at the examination centre to write her papers barely four hours after she had delivered a baby boy at a local hospital.
The bizarre incident took place in Saran district on Wednesday. Bihar at presently is conducting the class 12 examination.
Babita Kumari, a resident of Marhaura block in Saran district, was preparing for her examination on Tuesday evening when her labour pain started.
She was immediately rushed to the local referral hospital where she delivered a baby boy on Wednesday morning.
The patient was advised by the doctors to take rest but she remained adamant on appearing at the examination.Finally, the hospital released him.
Carrying baby in arms, she rushed to her examination centre at the Adarsh Rajkiya Middle School to take her examination.
Seeing her passion for study, the authorities allowed her mother-in-law to take care of her baby to enable help her finish the examination.
