PATNA: A woman in Bihar rushed to the examination hall in ambulance barely an hour after she had delivered a baby boy and doctors were reluctant to let her go.
The incident took place at Muzaffarpur in Bihar on Saturday.
The patient had reached the exam centre to take her BEd exam.
Ranju Kumari developed labour pain just before the exam was to begin.
She was hurried rushed to a nearby hospital where she delivered a baby boy.
Soon after her delivery, she kept insisting on releasing from the hospital to take exam which had already begun.
Keeping in view her health condition, she was rushed to exam centre in a ambulance but she reached some half-an-hour late.
Seeing her dedication for study, however, the centre superintendent Dr Mamata Rani allowed her to take exam in ambulance itself and deputed a teacher as invigilator right near the ambulance.
“I can take proper care of my baby only after better study,” the examinee told the media.
