PATNA: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has expressed strong annoyance with the BJP for setting aside the Hindutva agenda after coming to power.
“The Sangh has been constantly working on its agenda but the party (BJP) has forgotten it after coming to power,” RSS’ joint general secretary Krishna Gopal was quoted as saying in the local media today. Gopal is currently on two-day tour of Bihar.
He also expressed anguish over the alleged victimization of Hindus despite the BJP now being part of the government in Bihar.
“The Hindus are being insulted and tortured in Bihar but neither the party leaders nor the ministers in the government are speaking over the issue despite being in the government,” media reports quoted Gopal as saying.
“No other but the RSS can protect the interests of Hindus,” he reportedly said asking the leaders to bury personal differences to defeat the opposition.
According to informed sources, the RSS leader has arrived Bihar to hold meetings with various wings in view of the next LS Polls.
“Everyone has to work with the only agenda to ensure victory of Narendra Modi in the elections,” he reportedly said.
