PATNA: A special CBI court is to pronounce judgement against RJD chief Lalu Prasad in another fodder scam case today.
The case relates to fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 33.67 crores from Chaibasa treasury in 1992-93.
Chaibasa district which falls under Jharkhand state was then part of Bihar.
A total of 76 persons were made accused in the case. Of them, 14 died during the course of trial, three turned approvers, two pleaded guilty while one accused has been absconding.
Prasad now lodged in Birsa Munda Central jail has already been declared guilty in two cases.
Apart from Prasad, fiver other politicians are accused in the case who include Dr Jagannath Mishra, Vidyasagar Nishad, Jagdish Sharma, Dr RK Rana and Dhruv Bhagat.
