All for discipline: Bihar college bans leggings, jeans for girls

PATNA: A college in Bihar has banned use of leggings, jeans and Patiala dresses by girls to enforce discipline on the campus. The new dress code will be in force from January next year.

Maagdh Mahila College, one of the premier women colleges located in the state capital of Bihar, banned these three dresses quite popular among the new generation girls soon after the new principal Professor Shashi Sharma took over, media reports said today.

The principal also announced to impose fine on those violating the dress code while also banning the use of cell phones on the college campus.

The new college administration also announced formation of four groups to strictly enforce discipline on the campus.
