PATNA: Enforcement Directorate (ED) authorities today attached a Delhi farmhouse of RJD parliamentarian Misa Bharti in connection with the money laundering case, reports said.
Authorities said the farmhouse located in Bijwasan area of south Delhi has been attached provisionally under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
“It was purchased using Rs 1.2 crore involved in money laundering in the year 2008-09,” news agency PTI quoted unnamed ED officials as saying. Earlier in July the agency had also conducted raids at her farm house.
Misa, a Rajya Sabha member, is the eldest daughter of RJD president Lalu Prasad who himself has been facing many cases.
