PATNA: The barking street dogs have been disturbing sleep of RJD chief Lalu Prasad admitted to a hospital in Ranchi after his surrender before the court. This has kept his family and party officials hugely worried.
Prasad who suffers from multiple health complications is currently admitted to the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) at Ranchi.
“The barking street dogs have been disturbing sleep and peace of Lalu Prasad at the hospital. We are very worried and want the hospital authorities to shift him other ward for his better sleep,” Prasad’s close confidante Bhola Prasad Yadav told the media on Monday.
Prasad who is serving jail terms in three fodder scam cases has been diagnosed with at least 15 different kinds of disease which include Type 2 diabetes, hypertension, peri-anal abscess, cardiac problems and acute kidney injury.
Prasad surrendered before the court last week after the Jharkhand High Court rejected his plea for another extension of provisional bail on health grounds and instead asked him to surrender by August 30.
