PATNA: In another incident of mob justice, three criminals were lynched by an angry mob in Bihar today.
Reports quoting local media said criminals kidnapped a schoolgirl from a primary school located at Narayanipar village in Begusarai district and were fleeing with her on their bikes when the local villagers gave them a hot chase and caught all of them.
Very soon, the villagers pounced upon them and went on assaulting them with bamboo sticks, iron rods, bricks or whatever they could find in their hands.
The miscreants couldn’t sustain their brutal assaults for long and died on the spot. One of the victims has been identified as the elder brother of a notorious gangster Nagmani Mahto.
The police are camping at the spot to calm down tension in the areas.
The incident comes barely two day after the Bihar police administration claimed sharp fall in criminal incidents in Bihar.
