PATNA: Union minister and Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) chief Upendra Kushwaha is treating himself as out of NDA much before his set deadline of November 30 by which he has asked the BJP to finalise the seat-sharing deal.

This became clear on Sunday when he launched the sharpest-ever attack on the BJP leader and Bihar deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi, using various epithets towards him without mentioning his name.

“Some people are political parasite, suffering from publicity disease…are opportunist and power-greedy. Alliance parties use them as ‘bhopu’. Such people are like mosquitoes and keep themselves alive at the cost of their party,” alleged Kushwaha, obliquely referring to Junior Modi.

He also launched the frontal attack on the BJP leader for keeping silent on multi-billion Srijan scam.

“You have rightly said. The Prime Minister has tried to keep the country free form corruption. But what about Srijan scam? Pl also speak on it,” Kushwaha suggested Modi, replying to his tweet.

The RLSP chief hit out at Junior Modi soon after the latter attacked Kushwaha for” behaving against the coalition dharma and meeting charge-sheeted leaders from the Grand Alliance”.

“The top NDA leadership won’t buckle under pressure of anyone and will make proper distribution of seats on the basis of ground realities. We will win on all 40 LS seats,” Modi had tweeted on Saturday.

The choice of words used against each other amply indicates the cracks have widened in the NDA as Kushwaha’s exit remains only a foregone conclusion.
