PATNA: Jailed RJD chief Lalu Prasad is hugely missing the outside world, especially his interactions with the masses and the elections rallies that he would love to address.
The pains of him missing such things for being pushed inside the jail poured out today when Prasad referred to the ongoing process for by-elections in Bihar while he remains caged within the four walls.
“I am lodged in jail and the election process is set in motion. Have you seen this ever?” Prasad was quoted as saying in a local daily on Thursday.
He made these remarks while he had been taken to the Ranchi court in view of the ongoing trials in the fodder scam cases.
The by-elections are currently being held for three seats in Bihar which include one Lok Sabha seat and two assembly seats.
Further, he hit out at the ruling NDA government at the centre over the PNB fraud case and the growing unemployment in the country.
“The situation is not good in the country. The most common discussion among the masses today is that if you keep the cash outside, Narendra Modi will take back and if you keep them in banks, Nirav Modi will usurp it,” he added.
