Missing German Shepherd proves a big headache for Patna police

PATNA: A missing German shepherd is proving to be a big worry for the police in Bihar.

The dog was stolen from Vachaspati Nagar locality of Patna, the capital of Bihar state, a couple of days back but the police came into action after a formal complaint was registered with the police on Tuesday.

As per media reports, the dog was tied to chains in the house of Ramesh Ranjan, dog owner, when it was stolen by three men.

CCTC footages have shown three men untying the dog and walking away with it. The value of the stolen dog is stated to be Rs20,000.

The missing dog has now become a big headache for the police. Worried cops are anxiously searching for the missing dog in the sweltering heat and trying to get any clues.

We have got certain leads in the theft of dog and we hope to recover it soon,” a local police official KK Gupta told the media today.
