PATNA: Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar today suggested RJD president Lalu Prasad to move the court if he does have any valid evidence of his involvement in the multi-crore Srijan scam.
“Instead of giving routine statements to the Press, he should move the court with the evidence he claims to have against me,” Kumar told the media on Monday, referring to the RJD president allegations against him.
According to him, he recommended for a CBI probe the moment he came to know about the scam.
“But if he (Lalu Prasad) is not satisfied with the CBI investigation, he is free to approach the court,” he said.
Kumar’s reactions come a day after the RJD president held a rally against the scam in Bhagalpur on Sunday which was attended by impressive crowd.
Kumar though rejected the RJD rally as a “street corner meeting” and said the kind of language used against him at the rally could prove ultimately suicidal for Prasad.
