PATNA: Moments after Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar was conferred the first Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Award for “Probity in Politics and Public Life” in Jammu, Bihar opposition leader Tejashwi yadav taunted at him.
The award was constituted recently by the Jammu and Kashmir government to commemorate the death anniversary of PDP founder and two-time J&K chief minister Sayeed who died in 2016. Sayeed was father of J&K CM Mehbooba Mufti.
“Rajniti mein sabse jyada palti marane ka award hota to kise milta (Who would have walked away with the award if it was for switching sides at the drop of hats)?” tweeted Tejashi who served as the deputy chief minister in the previous Grand Alliance government.
राजनीति में सबसे ज़्यादा पलटी मारने का अवॉर्ड होता तो किसे मिलता?

Kumar who is in power for the past over 12 years has come under fire of the Opposition for frequently switching political loyalty after winning elections.
According to the RJD, the JD-U leader won the last 2015 Bihar assembly elections with the support of RJD and the Congress but in July last year he joined the NDA camp after dumping the Grand Alliance.
He had done that again in June 2013 when he formed his government with the support of the opposition parties after breaking alliance with the BJP with which support the JD-U had won the 2010 assembly elections in Bihar, alleged the RJD.
