PATNA: In a sudden turn of events, Bihar deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav today held a closed door meeting with chief minister Nitish Kumar, indicating the happy ending is very near in sight.
RJD chief Lalu Prasad and Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar were locked in bitterest ever war of words for the past around a fortnight over the issue of resignation of Tejashwi.
Trouble started after the CBI named Tejashwi an accused in a corruption case along with his parents and also raided his homes. While the JD-U wanted his resignation, the RJD was totally against his resignation.
This led to bitter verbal duels between the two sides which also issued threats to each other. The fight touched a new high when Tejashwi skipped a public function he was scheduled to attend with the chief minister last week.
The development had cast a shadow over the fate of the today’s cabinet meet. But against all speculations, Tejashwi not only joined the cabinet meeting but also held a closed door meeting with the CM to clear doubts if any.
Although it’s not clear what transpired between the two, it is believed the dust has finally settled and the dispute is reaching a happy end.
