PATNA: Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) chief Upendra Kushwaha on Thursday said building temple is not the duty of a political party in a subtle attack on the BJP, its ally.
“The BJP raises the temple issue whenever the elections come near,” Kushwaha told the media on today.
He alleged the BJP had been raising the issue just with intention to divert attention of the common masses from real issues.
According him, the BJP, perhaps, wants to polarise Hindu votes by raising the temple issue.
Kushwaha is currently at Valmikinagr in West Champaran attending two-day “chintan shivir” of his party.
He is likely to taken decision about his party’s next course of action.
Its widely speculated that the RLSP could walk out of the NDA.
Party spokesperson Madhav Anand dropped wide hints about this when he said the NDA is on the verge of collapse.
