PATNA: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today visited the newly-opened Patna Museum and looked impressed with the architectural marvel and Bihar’s rich history safely stored there.
Modi was in Patna to attend the centenary celebrations of the Patna University which gave many luminaries to all fields—arts & literature, medical, politics, law etc.
During his visits to the museum, the chief minister played a ‘guide’ and briefed the PM about certain historical facts.
The museum, said to be the dream project of the chief minister, houses many historical artefacts and archeological objects, such as statue of Didarganj Yakshini and throne of Chandragupta.
“Respect inspires visit, curiosity inspires display…History is the best place to experience the rich legacy of culture,” the PM wrote in the museum register before leaving for Mokama to attend another function.
