PATNA: The BJP today again raked up the issue of Ram temple now with the Lok Sabha elections barely seven months away.
“The Ram temple will be constructed at the same place in Ayodhya. There won’t be much delay,” senior BJP leader Syed Shahnawaz Hussain told the media at Bodh Gaya on Wednesday.
Hussain was there to attend the two-day meeting of the BJP national executive which concluded on Wednesday.
“The matter is in the court but we hope the judgment will come soon,” he said adding the construction works would start the moment the court delivers judgement.
At the meeting attended by several prominent leaders, the party debated strategy to win all the 40 LS seats in Bihar.
“The NDA is united and together we will win all the 40 seats in the next elections,” state BJP president Nityanand Rai told the media on Tuesday.
