PATNA: Setting a new example for the society, a villager in Bihar returned Rs 140,000 (Rs 1.40 lakh) to the man who had lost it on way.
Sumod Kumar Chaudhary, a resident Vaishali district, was returning home on Tuesday when he got a polythene bag containing the said amount and two bank passbooks.
He took the money home and decided to the return it to its original occupant.
While scanning the passbooks, he found a mobile phone number printed over them..
Subsequently, he made a call on the given number and asked him to receive the money he had lost on way.
Soon, the man came rushing to him and thanked him a lot for returning the amount.
