PATNA: At least three students, all related to the same family, met a watery gave in river Ganga in Bihar while trying to take selfie which ultimately proved to their last selfie.
The heart-rending incident took place at Panchmahala ghat at Mokama in Patna district on Tuesday afternoon, sending shock waves in the areas.
Reports said three students, all from the same family, were taking selfie before cooling themselves in the scorching summer in river Ganga when they noticed a Dolfin coming near them.
Searing the Dolfin, they began running out of panic in a bid to save themselves when they all went into the deep water and drowned. Of them, two were twin brothers. All belonged to nearby Badpur village.
Soon after getting information, a team of rescuers were pressed into service but they failed to locate them.
Reports said before stepping into water, the victims had also taken selfie on the river bank and then on the sandy bed of the river perhaps unmindful of the fact that this would be their last slefie.
