PATNA: Bihar “Super30” founder and math wizard Anand Kumar has voiced concern over the fate of poor class people in the society saying feudal forces were still out to block their way.
“Super30”, the brilliant idea of free coaching mooted by Kumar, has transformed the life of hundreds of poor and unprivileged children in the past 16 years.
“History bears testimony to this fact that feudal forces active in the society have always crushed the unprivileged class people in the society and that’s why poor class people have no history,” Kumar said in an exclusive interview to TheBiharPost.
Citing example of mountain man Dashrath Manjhi who singlehandedly tore apart a rocky mountain in Gaya district to carve out a road for the villagers, Kumar said his efforts deserved to be known to the world.
“Dashrath Manjhi showed the world how a single man can usher in big change in the society yet there is no history written about him in the way which he really deserved. His family is still living in utter penury,” he remarked.
As such, the forces inimical to the poor people don’t want them to grow. “First they will try to harm them and if not succeeded in their attempt, then they will go on character assignation,” Kumar explained saying he too was attacked several times.
He called upon the poor students not o surrender before circumstances, rather to battle against all odds and script the history for themselves by achieving the success.
