PATNA: BJP workers in Bihar today sought to project union minister Giriraj Singh as the next chief minister of Bihar on his birthday.
Supporters of the union minister today offered prayers at a temple in Begusarai, his home LS constituency, and urged the central BJP leadership to contest the next assembly elections in Bihar under the leadership of Singh.
“It’s not only the BJP but every Hindu wants Giriraj Singh to be projected as the CM candidate for Bihar. He is the big face of the nationalism and must be handed the throne of Bihar,” demanded his supporters.
Singh said he doesn’t want to become the chief minister nor he holds the qualification for this job.
