Ranchi girl tattoos Modi’s portrait on her back after Article 370 is revoked
IT TOOK SIX HOURS FOR THE TATTOO ARTIST TO COMPLETE THE TASK
PATNA: A 22-year-girl from Jharkhand has become a toast of the town after she got the portrait of Prime Minister Narendra Modi tattooed on her back.
Ridhi Sharma, a resident of Ranchi who works in a private company, inked Modi’s tattoo on her back to celebrate the revocation of Article 370 from Indian constitution which had granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
“The moment I came to know that the Article 370 has been removed, I straightway rushed to a tattoo shop from my office and got PM Modi’s tattoo inked on my back,” Ridhi told the media on Wednesday.
According to her, she has been a huge fan of the PM who, according to her, has initiated many drastic steps for the country and the women. One of them is the passing of a bill which criminalises the instant Islamic divorce practice known as “Triple Talaq”.
It took about six hours for the tattoo artist Vinay Soni to complete the task. In the tattoo, the PM wears his trademark beard and is dressed in his famous bandhi while peeping through his spectacles.
