Why inquiring about Tejashwi when you voted for Modi? asks RJD vice-president
People are angry that Tejashwi didn't visit Muzaffarpur where about 150 children died from suspected encephalitis
PATNA: RJD vice-president and former Union minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh said he was wondering to know people inquiring about whereabouts of Tejashwi Yadav and questioning him for not visiting the encephalitis victims.
Tejashwi who is the Leader of Opposition in Bihar assembly resurfaced only on Saturday after his prolonged absence from the state political scene.
“Why are the people inquiring about Tejashwi when they had largely voted for Narendra Modi in the elections? They should have rather asked why the PM did not come to meet the victim families,” Raghuvansh Prasad Singh was quoted as saying in the local media.
He said the people should have inquired about those whom they had voted for in the recently-held Lok Sabha polls, rather he is heard saying they are looking for Tejahswi. He said the only job of the Leader of the Opposition is to raise the issue.
“The people are asking as to where is Tejashwi? Why didn’t he visit Muzaffapur to meet the families of encephalitis victims? Now my question is from the Prime Minister—why didn’t he visit Muzaffarpur to console the encephalitis victims?” asked Singh.
Muzaffarpur faced the worst encephalitis strike this year with more than 150 children dying from this suspected disease this year.
